By Cassie LaJeunesse December 2020 Cosmetologist Juliana Duarte opened Bellus Wax Studio in January of 2018 because she wanted to bring her passion to Rome. The studio offers Brazilian waxing, as well as teeth whitening and eyebrow and eyelash services. After spending the past two years renting a small suite in west Rome, Duarte moved her business to a larger location downtown, where she opened for business in early November. Born in California to immigrants, Juliana Duarte spent her early formative years in her parents’ native Mexico. In 2002, the family relocated to Silver Creek, Georgia, when she was 14. The oldest of four children, she attended Pepperell Middle School.
